Handmade Journals

Using minimal resouces and simple tools this workshop shows you how to create wonderful journals. These books are perfect for travel or art journals, diaries,or even as small gifts.
We will also discuss adapting purchased books to give a more individual feel to them.
The class begins with creating lovely background papers for the journals.
Painting, simple stamp making and printing will help you to create pages which have your own unique marks and expression.
Several simple book styles will be demonstrated and students will make some of these.
